Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Thesaj - many good shots here!  I wondered about the one you've labeled "Sunny Jim."  I tend to think maybe a different label might be in order, such as "An easy way to view the world," or "Safe view."  I liked "Reflections of Mourning" very well - the feeling is fully conveyed.  "Wind and Water" left me with more questions than answers.  The "King" and Where duckies go .,.." where extremely fanciful, but interesting.

thesaj

That is in fact "The Sunny Jim Cave". It's a cave in La Jolla named after a cartoon character that the shadow/sillouette looked similar too. Hence it is aptly named in this case....

Al Moak

I've been in La Jolla, but didn't know that was there.  Thanks for the explanation.  It's quite a view, though, from that opening.

thesaj

Yup it's $3 to enter and then you go down like a 144 steps with the cooing of viscious flesh eating pigeons. (Okay, so the pigeons are harmless but there's a whole flocking lot of them.)

Pat

My goodness!

I never saw this topic before and now I'm looking.

Lovely photos Saj!  I'm going to look again.  I love anywhere close to the ocean.  You have quite a variety here.    Going to look again.  Just wanted you to know I missed it the first time around.

So many nice one, Saj.

I really like this one.  Reminds me so much of when I used to live in Ireland and the many caves along the coast...

Wow!  Lots of different styles.   I really like the ship's mast, and the close portrait.  Not all of these are the sort of thing I like, but I know good technique when I see it.  Nice work.

Very interesting series.  I like the Master and Commander shot as a personal favorite.  It's a challenge to shoot into the light and come out with something this interesting.

Yes, Kevin, that one is great!  But I'm partial to sailing ships!  ;)

I too like the Master and Commander shot.  I love sailling, and any ocean shots.

Sunny Jim I can see the face!  That seems like a lot of stairs!  Well worth the effort it looks like.

The Lighthouse and Wind and Water..... Pat they look like they could be taken in the British Isles?

Lets see some more of your work!
