Those are great shots, Marilyn, but I must admit that it does seem like an awful waste to burn down houses like that. Hopefully, they know what they're doing.
It seems such a shame and such a waste to just burn those houses. They don't appear to be in that bad a condition. Here, they would move them and set them on different lots. Great photos, though! :)
Here in Nashville the houses that are to be set on fire are used as practice spots for firemen.
Looks like they had plenty to work with. Great photos.

As of Monday night it was still smoldering. I didn't notice it smoldering yesterday though.
Makes me wonder why they were burning houses that could be used for the poorer community. hrmm.. great shots!
