Thanks certainly nice, Scotty.  Did you have your camera supported on a tripod?  Or is this hand held?  I love the colours.

I did use the tripod that my grandpa gave me. I had to mess with the shutter speed quite a bit. so I could not hand hold it. I ended up using a 1/6 of a second shutter speed, and a 5.6 aperture. Thanks for asking. :)

Scotty that is really neat!  Looks like an eclipse, is it?   :)

It does look like an eclipse.  I am thinking I heard that while I will be in Florida there is to be an eclipse...that's not next week but the week after.

It's not an eclipse, but it does look like it. I just used a slow shutter speed to let in more light ;)

                                                                                                                                                                             2,12,08

I heard there is going to be an eclipse tonight!

We can't see the moon yet, but when it gets higher we'll be able to see it.

Oh, wow!  I was hoping someone got some good shots.  I tried but was so unsteady and didn't change settings.  Mine just looked like a giant marshmallow squished into an L shape. If you can imagine that. :)

This is a great shot.  Applause here!

Too cloudy in Florida to see the eclipse.  Glad to see pictures of it!  Great shots!

I agree with the aplauding hands, Scotty!  Great shots.  I'm glad you were up for this, 'cause I wasn't.

Scotty, those are really nice shots of the eclipse!  Congratulations!

Your first photo--when I looked at it with my tired eyes, I thought "What is that thick disc shaped thing?"   Really well done.
