JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

How to Use This Board

Here's our
38th Challenge for you all.

"I SEE GOD"

"Cross"

Details:

  • This topic was chosen by Laughing Peppers, who won our  last Challenge and he explains:

"I have always been curious as how others see the presence of God in their shots. Although none of us have actually seen the face of God, we have felt and seen Him in his creations and through the goodness of others.  We all call ourselves Christian Photographers, so why not share photos that depict our personal connection with the Holy Spirit that make us feel and see God through the lens of our cameras.  I see God in every sunrise; I see God in every flower; I see God on the face of a loving parent; I see and feel God everywhere.

"Let us all use our God-given talents in glorifying God through the art of photography. I must also remind everyone, with God, we are all winners."

  • Use the attachment feature to show your photos (see directions above in the link to "How to Use This Board") in your post or link to them from your gallery or an offsite location that allows linking using the image codes.  If you have trouble, please contact a moderator (name in blue) or an administrator (name in red) and we'll help you post your photo.  If you have your photo in your gallery, please don't use the attachment feature as that puts the photo on our server twice but rather link to it.  It's best if your photos are at least 500 to 600 pixels wide so that they are easily seen.  Please keep your photos under 175 KB in size.

  • Please upload up to 4 entries per member for this challenge.

  • The challenge is open now and will be closed to uploads on November 22, 2009  and then we'll vote on them.

  • Please tell us the camera you used to take your photo and when you took it.  Please only enter photos taken by you.

  • Please put a short title above your photo.  We need the title for the poll listing.  If you want to tell us a bit about your photos, please put it below your picture or in a separate post.

  • Please post only one entry per post/message.

  • Of course, we're going to see who is posting the photos so this is not an anonymous challenge.  So start posting.  Click on the "Reply" button below and start this challenge!
Remember, this is a fun project!

Even if you didn't enter, please take the time to vote!  All members of Christian Photographers are encouraged to vote.

Ooops!! I picked the wrong file. The signature photo of my mission in glorifying God
through the art of photography is this one. Again I would like to stress that this image
is not an entry but rather a invitation for CP members to participate.

Thanks and God bless all of us,

I see God in our midst whenever we all come together in prayer.

This photo was at the courtyard of Holy Sepulcher Church in Jerusalem,

The Morning Face of God

[attachimg=#]

I see God in every sunrise. I see His goodness on the morning sun as He invites me to make the most of the day. I see the morning sun as God's way of saying "Good Morning!"

I am so spiritually energized by the significance of all the compelling photos submitted to our 38th Christian Photographers Mini Challenge. I thank everyone who participated in sharing their photographic vision of the theme, and also would like to acknowledge the members who took the time to look at the inspirational photos and voted.

To InspiredGal, I am so sorry to hear that you missed out on the opportunity. I am sure, as always, you could have dazzled us with your creative eye. I am probably one of your big fans in the Christian Photographers site.

It is really nice to see how we perceive God in everything around us. I look forward to more great spiritual themes for our future Mini Challenges.

May God keep showering Christian Photographers with His blessings.

It was fun to be a part of my first Christian Photographers mini-challenge.
Thanks to all who saw a little glimpse of God in my photos.  You've encouraged
me and I am "pumped" to refine my skills and hopefully capture a winning shot
one day in the future.

Congrats to fotobirder and all the other participants!

Thanks Ruthie. That was a hard picture to take and enter in this challenge. But I admire those kind of people so much. I've worked with the Mentally Challenged and I know how people act around them. Like they are going to catch what they have. Jesus always taught unconditional Love. He didn't say it would be easy.

May the Lord bless & keep you
