Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Wow, what great shots everybody!  And what a fun assignment!

I'm loving seeing the different perspectives from different people on each assignment.  The richness and beauty of God's creative hand is so evident even in "weathered" subjects!  Amazing!  And another testament of His glory!

Yeah, those are good. I personally like the second one better. Neat angle.

By next year, that boat will be a pile of sawdust.  ;D :D

There are some great shots here. I love to see everyone's definition of "weathered".

I bet with a little duck tape and paint, we could get the boat in Melody's shot sea worthy in no time. We could even use the motor in Marilyn's "Out in the Weather" to power it. ???

Again, great shots folks!

:coffee: Hey mossphoto I think we will need a whole lot of duck tape to get this boat sea worthy again but we could try :laff:

Melody's boat.

Sorry, it took me a while. I had to go back to the store to get more duct tape.

Anyway, here it is....

Isn't it amazing what a little duct tape, some glue, and a fresh coat of paint will do?  :woohoo:

Hey, mossphoto that is some improvement. They say duct tape works on everything. You've got to dream big!!
:roflBig:

Nita

Duct tape and WD-40.  I heard you can fix anything with those two.

Great photos, guys.  I'm impressed.  Gonna be another hard time selecting winners.

Mrs. Jones, as to your flower shot- Very fitting!  Good shot.  Sometimes I know how the flower feels.  Oh, and my sister N. said "Ooo.  Yuck."  (That was a compliment for this topic....)   ;D

Wow, Bethany.  Those were all very striking.  And well titled, too!
And "Beloved" was a fitting title as well... I should know, it is my dad's Bible...   <3

Barrel and Wall

[attachimg=#]

Taken last Monday with a Canon 30D

I don't think that barrel would hold much water, or anything else for that matter.

Thanks Gabriel.
I still don't know why I'm getting that "[ ERROR: SPECIFIED ATTACHMENT MISSING ]" notice in all my photo posts though, or why you can't see the entire image at the same time without having to scroll sideways?

Maybe Pat or someone else who knows the trick could advise me? Is there a maximum size we should use to accomplish that?

I tend to agree with you, Scotty! Although the brick walk and wall are also pretty weathered looking, the poor barrel looks like he went through a war and lost!  ;)
