WE'RE VOTING!

It is time to vote for your choice of winner in our Challenge entitled, "RED"! Voting will close on March 7 when the winning entry will be announced.

We surely hope that all members of Christian Photographers will take the time to click on the link in this email and go and cast your voted. You will be able to vote for your favourite 15 entries out of the 59 entered.

What a wonderful variety of subjects this offers! Thank you Jim for suggesting this new topic!

Details as described by Jim:

Certainly any other colors can be in the photo, but RED must be the main subject on which the emphasis is placed.

Let's encourage folks by letting them know we're enjoying their entries.

Use the attachment feature to show your photos (see directions above in the link to "How to Use This Board") in your post or link to them from your gallery or an offsite location that allows linking using the image codes. If you have trouble, please contact a moderator (name in blue) or an administrator (name in red) and we'll help you post your photo. If you have your photo in your gallery, please don't use the attachment feature as that puts the photo on our server twice but rather link to it. It's best if your photos are at least 500 to 600 pixels wide so that they are easily seen. Please keep your photos under 175 KB in size.

Please upload up to 4 entries per member for this challenge.

The challenge is open now and will be closed to uploads on February 27, 2011 and then we'll vote on them.

Please tell us the camera you used to take your photo and when you took it. Please only enter photos taken by you.

Please put a short title above your photo. We need the title for the poll listing. If you want to tell us a bit about your photos, please put it below your picture.

Please post only one entry per post/message.

Of course, we're going to see who is posting the photos so this is not an anonymous challenge. So start posting. Click on the "Reply" button below and start this challenge!

Let's ALSO NOT put any photos in this challenge labelled "NOT AN ENTRY" or anything that is not to be voted on.

Usually, when we have many, many entries, we "up" the number of votes as everyone in the past has complained that they wish that they had more votes. So, that's why Jeanne is allowing 15 votes.

The cardinal has always been my favorite bird. The Lord used a cardinal to send me a message early on in my walk..I asked Him for a sign..if I had done the right thing, and He sent me a cardinal. "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

I made a mistake when voting, and only voted for 10 of the photos in the running. Will know to vote for 15 next time.

Well .... I voted. But I need to comment on something Pat said: I never "complained" about the number of votes ... I would really like to say "all of the above" ... there have been some awesome photos and it is a difficult decision every time, no matter how many votes we get!
