How to Use This Board (http://www.christianphotographers.com/community/index.php?topic=5279.0)
Here's our
Sixteenth Challenge for you all.
HUMOUR
Details: - This topic was chosen by Fotobirder who came in 2nd in the last Challenge. The subject of the next Mini Challenge is Humor. Post your entries that will give us a good laugh. Of course, use good judgement in what you post remembering that this is a Christian site.
- Use the attachment feature to show your photos (see directions above in the link to "How to Use This Board") in your post or link to them from your gallery or an offsite location that allows linking using the image codes. If you have trouble, please contact a moderator (name in blue) or an administrator (name in red) and we'll help you post your photo. If you have your photo in your gallery, please don't use the attachment feature as that puts the photo on our server twice but rather link to it. It's best if your photos are at least 500 pixels wide so that they are easily seen.
- Please upload up to 4 entries per member for this challenge.
- The challenge is open now and will be closed to uploads on February 9, 2008 and then we'll vote on them.
- Please tell us the camera you used to take your photo and when you took it. Please only enter photos taken by you.
- Please put a title above your photo. We need the title for the poll.
- Of course, we're going to see who is posting the photos so this is not an anonymous challenge. So start posting. Click on the "Reply" button below and start this challenge!
Remember, this is a fun project!

The Title is "Did I do something Wrong?" Totellini seems to be saying this as Big Rusty has her cornered. But they are actually just playing and usually end up snoozing beside each other afterwards. Picture taken inside my house with Nikon D80 camera and Fill Flash. Picture taken January 2008.

The Title of this picture is "Has The Hawk Left Yet." This Red Headed Woodpecker suddenly went from eating at the top of the Feeder to this position. The Picture was taken in My backyard sometime in 2007. The camera was A Nikon D80 and I used a Nikon Speedlight on the Camera.

The Title of this picture is "I can't believe I ate the whole thing." This Ground Squirell looks as though he just finished off the whole ear of Corn. The picture was taken in my Yard in late 2007. I used a Nikon D80 to take the picture.

Little Duck in a Big Pond
Had this idea one fall afternoon and headed out with my boys to the local duck pond. As you can see, it was a productive afternoon.

Grab shot at Bury art gallery, its a little out of focus, or maybe a little camera shake, but she does look competent enough to be judging the annual exhibition.

"Thoughtful or Snubbery?"
My girls were posing for pictures with their cousins before we ended our visit with them and we did several "normal" type shots. Then, I told them all to look thoughtful and I liked the results. Personally, I think it looks like they're snubbing the photographer.

"Lion Around"
It's not often you see lions sacked out on the hood of a vehicle. I took this at the San Diego Wild Animal Park last April. I joke with my family that the one sprawled out with its chin on the hood must be a teenager. LOL
I took this with my Canon EOS 20D.
(https://www.christianphotographers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fshekinahphotography.smugmug.com%2Fphotos%2F252470490_JvkTv-M.jpg&hash=1c6fc6b734d28da26e313f7d93b8f6c0183eb0b8)
"Oblivious"
This is my daughter and husband when we recently went sledding. They had just landed after getting some air and my husband grimaced in a little pain and my daughter it totally oblivious...just enjoying the ride to the extreme.
This was also taken with my Canon EOS 20D. January 2008.

"Over-joyed!"
I took this shot of my daughter and her new beau at a park downtown when they'd been courting about 2 months or so. Looks like he's quite over-joyed at the new relationship. He cracks us all up with his hilarious antics.

Kathleen, once again you've captured my attention. Each of your photos is unique and interesting. I think the one of the girls "being thoughtful" is really funny. It's fun to see how they interpret moods/feelings. I love the lion around one also ... then there's the over-joyed boyfriend and poor Dad ... :-\
Pat - I think your duck is really a crack-up. Two stepping or wet feet...hmmmm I didn't think a duck would worry about getting her feet wet! :D

I look forward to the final outcome of all this.

I don't know about anyone else, but I have to say that this has been the hardest challenge for me, so far. Great subject! My problem was choosing just four humorous pictures. I barely even tapped the storehouses of silly, funny, pictures I have. I suppose the other problem is that what's funny to me and my family isn't necessarily funny to other people. I sure had fun with this subject, though, and have enjoyed seeing all of the humorous images that are entered here.
Jane-Thank you so much for your kind and humbling words.
"Good luck" everyone! Well...you know what I mean.
Hope you didn't only choose FOUR, Kathleen!??
You can choose SIX!!!
I think you misunderstood me, Pat. I did vote for six. I meant that it was hard to narrow it down to four of my own to enter, because I have tons for this category of humor.
Enjoyable contest. They were pretty much all humorous in their own way. :)
If only I'd had the time to scan some picts of when our boys were tiny, little clowns!
Ohhhh, OK Kathleen! NOW I understand! HAHAHAHA!
I voted
Glad to see you all voting.
Maybe we'll close this early as everyone seems to have voted.
What do you all think?
I'd say 27 is just about a record number of voters, so I'd be okay with closing it :)

Andy Sorensen, I'm so happy that you've won with that delightful photo. It still makes me smile! So would you please send me a Personal Message with the topic of the next challenge. Please send a little description of how you want the title interpreted.
CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!!!
Congrats Winners!
I know I was asked to post a bigger pic, but I wasn't sure how.
(it wasn't a very good one anyhow)
And besides, I went and asked the horses their opinion of whether or not I should post a bigger one, and they looked at each other and said "Does size really matter?"
Really, they did! And I got a photo of it right here as proof!

Fantastic job! Those were my picks, too, although the choice was extremely difficult.
