JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

How to Use This Board

Here's our
Eighteenth Challenge for you all.

B O O T S

Details:

  • This topic was chosen by Janet who won our  last Challenge.  The subject of the next  Mini Challenge is BOOTS.  Janet says, "Boots--cowboy boots, walking boots, engineer boots, military boots, high heeled boots, chore boots, rubber boots!  I'm sure you can think of others and can come up with some interesting; exciting, funny, prosaic, touching, or other types of photos featuring BOOTS."

  • Use the attachment feature to show your photos (see directions above in the link to "How to Use This Board") in your post or link to them from your gallery or an offsite location that allows linking using the image codes.  If you have trouble, please contact a moderator (name in blue) or an administrator (name in red) and we'll help you post your photo.  If you have your photo in your gallery, please don't use the attachment feature as that puts the photo on our server twice but rather link to it.  It's best if your photos are at least 500 pixels wide so that they are easily seen.

  • Please upload up to 4 entries per member for this challenge.

  • The challenge is open now and will be closed to uploads on March 28, 2008   and then we'll vote on them.

  • Please tell us the camera you used to take your photo and when you took it.  Please only enter photos taken by you.

  • Please put a title above your photo.  We need the title for the poll listing.

  • Of course, we're going to see who is posting the photos so this is not an anonymous challenge.  So start posting.  Click on the "Reply" button below and start this challenge!
Remember, this is a fun project!

Well, I just called this Picture "Get Well Boot." About 3 years ago I had to wear this boot for over 3 months. I was diagosed with blood Poison on my Left Foot. I got well and the Boot is now Booted. I keep it just to remind me what could happen if I don't take care of my feet.

May the LORD bless & keep you.

I love the woman who wears these boots. Her name is Louise and she's been my wife  for 25 years. Twenty Five years ago we became One Flesh and it's still that way today. The Title is "And they two became one Flesh."<3

Hello everyone-

I've been of of this site for awhile, and thought I would start back up again with a post to the challenge.

I have a funny feeling my post will be disqualified. When I first received an email about the challenge, I thought I would post my photo of boots.

The only thing is, my photo of boots is actually a photo of "Boots", my Pom mix.

This is for fun really, because I'm sorta strange that way sometimes.

I took this picture of a Boots sign coming back from the Georgia Mountains. In one shot I could see a Hot Air Balloon through the sign. I named the picture "High Heels."

The tie has already put the BRAKES on this comp, so if someone has not yet voted and chooses one of the leaders as their favorite, it will BREAK open the log jam, where things are really TIED up at the moment and has us in quite a BIND.

Congratulations Nita and Don for those great photos and the tie breaking competition that they caused. I thought the knee and ancle boot idea might have a chance and third place was wonderful.  Pat said to me that she had so much delight in putting those ribbons on 1st and 2nd place. As for third place, you see, "Lauren" lives in Pat's home and she held the snack up as I took the picture and I think that added a little extra to her delight as well.

My thanks for all of you who voted for "Lauren"!! I think she just made 3rd place by a wisker!!

I like that "Get Well Boot" too, fotobirder

Kevin, do you wear those boots often?

Yes, Paul, that was fun doing that photo of Lauren.
