Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Rachelle ~

Married to my best friend for 20 years and mom to my five blessings, including RebekahAZ and BethanyAZ.

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. Galatians 6:9

Swamp Cabin

[attachimg=#]

This old cabin is in the Okeefenokee Swamp.  My grandmother lived out in the woods, much like this.  She kept the yard swept, like it is here, in order to see if anything crawled up at night (snakes particularly).  There were a lot of "critters and varmets" that would come up and sneak into the house.

I know that this picture is not very "weathered" but it is my favorite of all my submissions. The Bible belongs to our Pastor. I took it when we were at church last Sunday. It was shot with the Canon Rebel XT.

You may be familiar with driftwood beach at Jekyll Island.  We spent some time there a couple of years ago.  It is one of my favorite places and it is beautiful.  Here is a sample.  The trees are on the beach and they didn't drift up, they were growing there and the elements have taken a toll.

We have had a bit of rain from Fay down here.  The last time we went to this bridge the creek was just about dry.

Becky. Isn't that Covered Bridge just out of Bainbridge. We live in Lawrenceville but have been all over the state. Great Picture. :thumbsup2:

FotoBirder, yes, the Coheelee Covered Bridge is about an hour from Bainbridge.  It was interesting going back when there was lots of water.

We live near Donalsonville, GA, on Lake Seminole.

Hi,

I've voted.  And this is how I chose.  If you stuck to the theme, I had your picture in my sights!  After that it was easy.

Midori and I had our first long vacation in years. And after we returned, I had scheduled hernia surgery (a week ago last Monday).  And that is why I wasn't able to participate in this challenge.

There are so many excellent entries!

Melody, I thought it was an old clothes mangle at first until I read your title, well I guess they work on the same principle. If I was you I'd cart it home, get to work on it with a wire brush, and paint it up and put it on display at home.

Oops!

I'm late

I'll be right back to post the winners!
