• From Fotobirder: 
  "You are worthy our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and  by your will they were created and have their being."
  
  "Please don't use any past Winning Photos. This is wide open. Everything in the Photo doesn't have to be directly created by God. But that needs to be the main Focus. People, Places and all things that give him glory. A house wasn't created by God but the Wood that made it came from Trees that was created by God. Use that example in all your entries. Now, let's honor God through our photos and give him the Glory for creating all are entries.   

• Use the attachment feature to show your photos (see directions above in the link to "How to Use This Board") in your post or link to them from your gallery or an offsite location that allows linking using the image codes.  If you have trouble, please contact a moderator (name in blue) or an administrator (name in red) and we'll help you post your photo.  If you have your photo in your gallery, please don't use the attachment feature as that puts the photo on our server twice but rather link to it.    

• Please upload up to 4 entries per member for this challenge.    

• If you possibly can, please tell us the camera you used to take your photo and when you took it.  But if you don't know, please post the picture anyway.  We want to see your photos.  :)  Please only enter photos taken by you.    

• The challenge is open now and will be locked to uploads on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 and then we'll vote on them.    

• Please put a title in your post for your photos.  We need the title for the poll.   

• Please post only one entry per post/message. 

• Of course, we're going to see who is posting the photos so this is not an anonymous challenge.  So start posting.  Click on the "Reply" button below and start this challenge!

Fire and Water

God created fire for man's good use -- heat and light. But when it gets out of hand, His other creation -- water is there to extinguish it. That is why He also created firefighters.

Burning Petals

I prefer shooting a sunflower when the sun is behind it. It makes the petals look like flames. This one was shot in the afternoon, around two o'clock. Shot with a point-and-shoot Nikon S9900 which goes to prove that it doesn't require a big fancy camera to showcase the amazing beauty of God's creation.

Queen of The Night

This rare flower blooms only at night and dies the following day. The petals starts to open at sundown and close at sunrise. Only God can create a living plant such as this. Shot outdoor at night with Nikon D300s, in diffused side lighting.

Light and Shadow

God said, "Let there be light. And there was light." Light is God's creation that allows us to see the rest of His creations. Without light, we will be in complete darkness. We need the Light behind us to see our shadow in front of us.

Don't know why but I don't get notifications for the challenges. If I don't remember to check, I don't know they are going on!

We were on a evening whale watch off Maui when a small rain storm over Lanai caused this sky. Everyone on the boat stopped looking for God's glory in the Hump backs and started marveling at his glory in the sky.
