Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Hello, everyone. I usually don't like posting links to internet articles, but in this case, it seems important enough to go ahead with it.

I'll post a summary of that article later in case you don't feel particularly inclined to read the whole thing.

I agree, Scotty, but it's been a risk for a VERY long time (in terms of I.T. industry standards).  Most people don't like to try something "new" because they are comfortable with the status quo.  Even if it means risking the security of their computers or having their identity stolen.  They would much rather get all the patches and jump through all the hoops M$ sets forth.  The other major players in the browser game (Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome) are making some headway.  Linux users (and most Mac users) tend to gravitate towards Firefox but Chrome is becoming a big hit very quickly with Opera following very closely.  All three will run on Windows, Linux, or Mac whereas IE is a native Windows client made to work on the other two OSs through patches and workarounds (in the case of Linux, Wine -Windows Emulator).  But, it's just as insecure, just as slow, just as bloated.

Good advice.  I've used Firefox exclusively for several years now.  I have IE 6 on my computer but can't remember the last time I turned it on.

Good for you, Jeanne.

I think most people don't want to go to the trouble of moving all they're bookmarks (Favorites) to another browser. But what people don't know, is that when you start Firefox for the first time, it asks if you want to import all bookmarks and history. So really, there is no excuse for not protecting yourself.
