What do you all do when things are going slow on your favorite forums??? I usually begin visiting sites that I haven't visited for awhile...Then When I='m really bored I have two three tabs going on browser...  :-\

Well-since the planting season is pretty much done with in the garden...you watch the flowers come in and go out seems as fast...about 3 months worth of enjoyable work makes you feel sad to realize there's not much left time that will be blooming anytime soon...I think I need to to find some midsummer and early fall plants that will bloom then...I do have them now-but it seems like if they are a few years old they bloom sooner-therefore don't last through to the end...the gladiolas are begining there's now-and the morning glories are filling in a little more...Shasta Daisies, Black-Eyed Susans and Purple Coneflowers are in bloom but you can see their prime is done...as are hollyhocks-I only have the dark ones but I saw some pretty yellow and white ones down the road-I'd like some of those, bright and cheery...maybe I'll start some seeds here soon...Even the birds are off doing their own things!!!! ::)

Then I have to remember that it's midsummer where everything takes a break because of heat. Our weather has been rather cool for last cupla weeks in July-Im waiting for the hot summer, sweaty, muggy days to kick in...I think it'll throw us for a loop...Then all will be imploring to go to the creek to cool down...Those kinda days remind me of when I was a little kid...Not a care in the world-didn't have to think about anything but getting cool... :rose: :wave:

It's about the same here juanital.   Quiet,Quiet,Quiet. It's that time of the year when my business falls off to almost non existent and the economy does not help.

It has been cool here for July and we finally started to get some rain. Grass and anything else that was not being watered almost died but things are now greening up. My hibiscus have been blooming profusely

but that is about over. Now they have maybe one bloom.

Think it's about time to start thinking about fall colors and maybe a vacation. :)

Hope the rest of your summer and fall are what you expect plus some.

Those are pretty Don!!! Today it 's warmer than it has been lately...And we did get rain a few days in a row-very much needed!!! :)
