OK, so the first thing I thought when I saw this was "oh sweet, I'll take one" then I thought "wait a minute, am I really gonna carry this around with me all the time? I think not. Plus, I really dislike the color." But then I thought "on the other hand, it would be cool to see the expression on the face of a football player in a game." But then we have a problem.... When I walk up to the front entrance of the stadium carrying my 25 pound (at least) lens, the security dude in front, is gonna think I'm sneaking in some kind of rocket launcher, or hiding a bomb in this huge tube. So I stand there for 15 to 20 minutes while the security guy disassembles my $4,000 lens to make sure it's not a weapon. Then when he's all done destroying my lens, he (of course) can't remember how put the thing back together. So now I'm stuck with a pile of glass parts worth nothing.  >:( Too bad I paid for a spot in the nosebleed section (the bleachers) so I could test the power of my new lens. Lucky thing I still have my 18mm lens to shoot those tiny white specks on the that little green square way down there.

This whole thing make me glad I'm not a sports photographer.

:roflBig:
