If you think of any that I missed, let me know.
It is very slow and I struggle every day with it.
I have a Mac at home, actually several, but I mostly access CP from a windoz box at work. I think the university must own stock in Dell ::)
My desktop is "generic" built for me and is now waiting for a new power supply unit. Meanwhile I'm using my Toshiba laptop.

Where's all the Dells & other Windows machines? But I have the greatest - an Eimac with 10.5.8 OSX
OK I have a dell monitor, an IBM tower a microsoft keyboard, and mouse. The tower case is IBM but the insides are a mishmosh of whatever. Hope that makes sence to you computer geeks out there!

We used to have an iMac, but the HD died. Now we have a Power Mac G5 running 10.4.11

I added an option to the poll just for you, Judy. ;D
For the Mac users out there...
Open Macintosh HD/Applications/Utilities/Terminal.
Then past in this code and press enter.
/System/Library/Frameworks/ScreenSaver.framework/Resources/ScreenSaverEngine.app/Contents/MacOS/ScreenSaverEngine -background &
This sets your screensaver as the desktop background. :o
To undo this, and revert to your old desktop bakground, past in this code and press enter.
killall -9 ScreenSaverEngine
Acer Desktop
Gateway Laptop
Dell Laptop
Quite a collection. I'll add Acer to the poll, and make it so people can choose multiple options.
BTW, welcome to the site. :)
Apparently I can't enable multiple selections. :( Are you able to modify the poll, Pat?
I did voter...not sure how to re-vote. Pat is not available to a computer very often just now....Perhaps Larry can help out.
I fixed the poll so anyone can make up to 4 votes at one time. But I don't know about voting a second time once "submit" has been clicked - I don't think that can be done except by deleting all the votes already entered and starting over.
I fixed the poll so that you can change your vote.
Lots of fun, Scotty!
:)
Ah! Pat to the rescue! Thanks, Pat. I had no idea how to do that, or if it could even be done.
Mine is a home grown. I build and repair my own.

I need you here, Don!!!
I had a complete crash this past week and I have no idea where to put the files back that I have backed up!!!!!!
What kind of files did you back up and what did you back them up to?
Don
Multiple computers, my Windows machine is custom built by me and about 2 years old so it's getting dated. My main computer is a Mac Pro and it's a workhorse. 8 Cores running at 2.8GHz, 12GB RAM, and a nice 30" Apple Cinema Display which comes in handy when working in Photoshop or editing video.
Also have a MacBook Air, SSD so it's light and fast and is a great tool to take to client meetings or down to Starbucks or Pete's for a little breather.
AWESOME!
Macs are he coolest. Are you running Leopard or Snow Leopard?
Snow Leopard on both. Apple sells their package, upgrade iWork, iLife, and OS for around $140. Pretty reasonable.

I still use PowerPC processors, so I can only go as far as Leopard. I'm still on Tiger right now.
iMac and MacBook Pro and iPod Touch (32gb). Yes, the iPod Touch is a computer. I do much of my online reading and correspondence on that nifty little machine.
Macs just work and work and work.

Kevin, I just stopped by your blog and took a look at some of your work. Beautiful autumn photos, my favorite has to be this shot (http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_XrwZJA60lCk/SxOSycE7L3I/AAAAAAAABNo/umNFFo_1SUM/s1600/IMG_4480.jpg) I just love the angles of the building in the photo.
