A late season female blue dasher. She returned to this exact spot for three days running. I figured I'd better take a shot.

She is indeed beautiful!  And to think they eat so many "unwelcome" pests!

It's taken with a Pheonix 100mm macro lens.  Very inexpensive,  but very sharp.  Not very ruggedly built, but I love the results.
