My Salsa

1-28oz. can Contadina Seasoned Crushed Tomatoes with Roasted Garlic
1 medium onion
½ to 1 cup sliced jalepenos
1½ tsp cilantro flakes
1/4 cup brown sugar

Put all in blender and blend.  Store in container in refrigerator.  Makes 4 cups.

I made this up and really like the crushed tomatoes rather than fresh tomatoes (which is only in season a few months out of the year here).  I buy the cilantro in the spice section at my grocery and the brown sugar takes the acid out of the tomatoes.  The onions and jalepenos are according to your taste!  The hotter the better for me!

Thanks Pat for putting all of these recipes from the old forum.  Glad we didn't lose them.  A lot of work went into posting these recipes to lose them in a flash.

Hmm, Etta.  That sounds great.   And it looks easy enough for me to make.   :-X
