Thanks everyone. I wish I had more time to spend fellowshipping with you all. The photo is of my oldest daughter Kaitlin and my first granddaughter Emma. It was taken just seconds after they handed her to Kait for the first time. I was allowed to be in the delivery room as a "photojournalist" so I could document her birth but not as a mother. ;)
I'm glad you enjoyed it.

With the celebration of Independence Day and Canada Day just around the corner what if the next challenge topic is "Freedom?" It can be whatever represents Freedom to each of you. Since I've never chosen a topic, this may be to broad. Thoughts?

Thanks again!  :)

Congratulations, Cindy, a beautiful photo and subject.  Very few "birthing room photos" are ever that pretty, colorful and sharp.  Good job!   I think your suggestion of "Freedom" is an excellent one.

I enjoyed all of the photos, you are a very talented bunch!

Each photo shows care and love in the choice of subject, and the treatment given. :)

And, congratulations, Cindy.

Congratulations, Cindy.   Incredible moment to capture ~  and yes, I think Freedom is quite appropriate.  It already conjurs up thoughts for a shot or two

Congratulations, Cindy. A mother-child photo is always an interesting shot, just the way you captured the bonding moment between your daughter and your grandchild. Good photojournalism!

I also congratulate everyone who participated in submitting their photos of the theme and .... Thank you all for the votes.

To Skief, WOW!! I truly love your shot of "In My Father's Hands."
I see Father God, the greatest Dad of all in that beautifully composed photo. Excellent interpretation of the theme with a very fitting title. God must have smiled when you took that shot. Awesome, just awesome!!!

Congratulations to all the winners!  YOu have done well with this topic.

Mario I agree with you about Skief's photo!  But they all were so good.  Difficult choice in voting!

I know, but in my eyes, there is always that compelling shot that  stands out from all the rest. Skief's shot really caught my attention.

Congratulations, Cindy. There were several images that fit the subject well, but I agree that your mother and newborn daughter photo deserved to win the 1st place award!!
Kudos to the other winners also.
