Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Photo of the Year 2010

"Babcock State Park"
by Don

"Grist Mill"

From Don:

"This is a photo I shot in West Virginia back on Oct, 28, 05. It was shot with a Sony F707 Cybershot hand held. It was a warm fall day in October just before the remnants of a hurricane blew through and dumped a early dusting of snow on the area. I wish I had gone back and shot it again with the dusting of snow on the ground but guess that will have to wait until next time.

The photo was taken here    http://www.babcocksp.com/  BTW folks this is a great place to visit if you get the opportunity.

Thank you everyone.

Don"

The colors are so vibrant, and the water looks so refreshing. Almost looks more like a painting than a photograph.

Great job!!!

Really top notch Don. I agree, a return trip would be in my mind as well. Wow, think what an early snow could do to an already beautiful scene! I am one appreciative sinner for our Lord's creation. Well done Don.

The Majesty of the Lord showed through his creation. You caught it in a way that pleased him and also was satisfying to our eyes.

I agree wholeheartedly with all that's been said here about your shot!  Thank You, Lord, for such  a beautiful place, and I thank Him also for your shot of it.  Amen!!

Your photo looks like it is at my favorite time of the year.  Absolutely love the colors and the peaceful scene.  The photo just draws you in for a closer look and tempts one to rest in the corner.  Thank you!  And, thank the Real Developer of all our lovely places on this planet.
