This s A change in the Challenge.   I meant for it to be this way all the time. But it seems as An Explanation is needed. You don't have to enter A picture of A Bird, A Bee A Flower and A Tree. Just don't enter 4 pictures of the same subject. Hope this gets more entries.

Our God sure knew what He was doing when he created our beautiful flowers for our eyes to look at....

Fotobirder, I am assuming this is NOT your back garden... ;)

No!  This is A photo of the Masters Azaleas. But A Beautiful photo of A Garden Flower would be FINE.

This Challenge

I've been under the weather truly! With Hurricane Harvey's Pressure keeping my Head In the Clouds. We're still trying to move all of our stuff and give away the rest. Thank God for Family who have come through and helped us. But just one other entry besides mine. I'm confused. I fell like an outsider looking in. Is it about the last contest. We can start all over and let her be the winner and name the Challenge. Like Jeannie said" it was A challenge with A lot of problems. I hate put it like this: But if there are no more entries: I give Up! I'll just move on. Sorry, that's just the way I feel. Still love all of you but feeling sort of left out Now!

I know I'll regret this latter.
Just want to do whats better for all of us

Steve, ( Fotobirder ) I am relatively the newcomer to this forum and wonder too, where everyone has gone that once contributed to this photo " challenge " section...

It's not just the challenges that are losing interested members.  It is site-wide, and Pat's other sites are suffering as well.

Not so very long ago it was normal to have 15 or 20 people at a time, all day long, looking in. Now we seldom have as many as two or three, and often there is no one but me.

It is very unusual to see a new photo posted in any of the subject topics.  for instance, the last "Photo With Scripture" comment was March 2017 and the last photo posted was some time before that.   It is much the same for the other topics.

It seems there is a loss of interest in bulletin board type sites in favor of the "social media" sites like Facebook, Twitter and the rest.

I have no idea ow to change this and bring people back here.  If you have a suggestion, please let me know.

Jeanne Lee...
...there have been rooms where I have made a posting that a message has come up stating...

" Warning: this topic has not been posted in for at least 300 days.
Unless you're sure you want to reply, please consider starting a new topic..."

I have ignored It and gone ahead with my posting, hoping it might attract posters to my post, sadly I have yet to see one...I have been trying to resurrect some dormant posts to get members interested again...to bring in new members, or to bring old members back...

Jackie, I've seen your posts, but if there's no one looking in at the site it can't help much.  And that seems to be the problem - no one is checking.

I dont know the number we used to have but as I type I see 88 guests...maybe we just need to re-open old posts and hope for the best or, is that Pray for the best?  ;D

Edited: 107 now..

Jackie, the number of "guests" really means nothing.  It is just people surfing the net and not anyone who can post.  The number of "users" is what means anything - the users are registered members who can post a message or photo.  And that number has fallen from about 12 or 13 at a time to two or three and often only one.

Jeanne Lee...
...but I see many guests registering, what does that mean, why register but never post...
...on the other hand its the guests who look around we need to tempt in...
I never knew this forum when at its peak but I can see that once it had many active members...
Any way I shall say goodnight, its touching midnight, my bedtime, I must get my beauty sleep... :P

Jeanne Lee...
...I stand corrected...I have been a member for seven months 30th January and it seems we have only had six new registered members since then, you were right....( I was getting confused with the newly registered from S & F's ) wonder why our registered members look in but never make a posting...it would be lovely to hear how they are getting on, whether it be good or bad...
...Had my " beauty  " sleep...so better stop talking and stay with the topic of photos...before someone boots me off...

I just now dropped in to see how things were going. We had to move into an assisted Living Place. 'm on antibiotics to kill the Antibiotics. I took an awful spill coming uphill from taking A nice picture. I'm still asking myself was it worth it. I'll let you see the photo. Attached. Good news though. I've gotten closer to the Lord. We put our House on the Market and got 5 offers the first day. We close next Friday,. With the Lord Good always comes out of what seems like bad to us.
