Post by: Marilyn on May 14, 2003, 11:18:26 AM
Fresh Orange Salsa

3 Valencia Oranges, skin and pith cut off
3/4 c chopped radishes
1/4 C chopped green olives
3 Tbls. finely chopped fresh cilantro
2 Tbls. each minced red onion and jalapeno

Holding oranges over a bowl, cut between the membranes to release sections. Squeeze juice from membranes into bowl. Stir in remaining in salsa ingredients.

This recipe goes with Sauteed Chicken Breasts which is posted in the meat section.

I have never heard of this and I know I have never eaten this.  Am I right in that you only use the orange juice and not the pulp?  Very interesting mixture of ingredients.

Only squeeze the juice from the MEMBRANES not the sections. The sections go in the salsa.

You can make salsa out of all kinds of stuff. there are some that are made from sweet theing to put over desserts.
