Title: Caramel Candy Cake
Post by: Denise on April 09, 2003, 09:49:15 PM
Caramel Candy Cake

1 german chocolate cake mix( 9x13 pan)
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 jar Mrs. Richardson caramel sauce
1 pint whipping cream or tub cool whip
Heath or Skor bars crushed

Bake the cake according to box directions.
Remove the cake from the oven and add the sweet milk.
Poke holes in the cake to allow the milk to absorb in.
Also add the caramel sauce at this time.
Allow this to cool on the counter.
Crush the candy bars and add them to the whipping cream and that goes on top of the cake when cooled.
Refrigerate over night. It's best when ice cold.

*I've used 1/2 can of Sweet milk and 3/4 jar of caramel sauce with good results. You may need to adjust to your liking. It makes it very sweet.

Wow! Denise!  This sounds great.  Anything with Sweetened Condensed Milk is great in a dessert.  Just looked...don't have a German Chocolate Cake mix... :'(

Oh my goodness, Denise... does this sound good or what.  I'm hoping I can find the Carmel sauce you mention.  Some ingredients we can't find here in Canada., but I'm sure I can find some kind of carmel sauce that will do!!

I'll let you know!!.....YUM!!
