Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

My son's car was covered with Ginkgo tree leaves from the tree at his apartment. When he came to visit, some of them decided to stay!

Ginkgo, also known as maidenhair, is the oldest surviving tree on earth. It is believed to be even older than dinosaurs. Revered for its beauty and its longevity, the ginkgo is considered a living fossil since it has remained unchanged for more than 200 million years

Hello Jacqueline!

Wow! I didn't know all that. I did know it is also known as Maidenhair - which I can see. I didn't know how old it is. I love the shape of the leaves and the beautiful green color. Do you have Ginkgo in England where you live?

Hope you are well!

Jenny i believe their is one in our famous Kew Gardens...

Quote from Kew gardens website...

" Did you know? The oldest recorded maidenhair tree is a whopping 3,500 years old."

I have been to Kew but unsure as to whether i saw one there or not but, at the time several years ago i would not have been looking for it as we were not on a guided tour...

Hi Jacqueline!

I just did a search for Kew Gardens. I went on the website, but then I checked them out on Google Images. WOW! Beautiful! A photographer's dream.

Last time i went to Kew, which was several years ago, just as hubby and me was entering, a Concorde plane flew over, Heathrow airport was not too far away...i managed to quickly take a photo even though the plane was rather high up, still a sight to see...a sad sad day when they took the Concorde away from our sky's...

Wow! That must've been really neat to see. Was it very loud being so close? Why did they retire them I wonder?
