Meeting Friends~Old and New
Sometimes we have the opportunity to meet fellow members of Christian Photographers on our travels.
Let's share photos of these meetings and we'll all enjoy meeting these new friends too!
When you meet other members of CP, try to get some photos of your meeting and then, please just click on the "Reply" button and tell us about it and share photos with all of us!
What fun to get together with others!
Please leave comments! We all like comments! ;)

I had the opportunity to travel up to Judy's home north in Powassan, Ontario (about 4 1/2 hours north of Guelph, Ontario).
While I was there, our member, RuthV came over and we enjoyed tea and cookies together!

Ah ha! This was why you needed a picture!
Great Idea, Pat.
I will watch for more, from others, on C.P.
It is wonderful to get together with fellow members. Thank you for inviting me JudyB.
A great idea and a wonderful thought that I might have the opportunity to meet some of you in this world as well. ;)
I would love to meet any of you, any time! Pat, don't you have any photos of you and Paul with Larry and Pat?
Great idea for a new thread, nice photo to get us going.
In November 2010, Paul and I set off to Pensacola, Florida to have Thanksgiving with his son and family.
On the way, we dropped in to see Larry and Pat Hanna and spent the night with them before going the rest of the way to Pensacola.
Here are some photos to share with you of our visit with the Hanna's:

Great photos! I'm really loving seeing you all again -- er, uh, except for Judy and Ruth V and Paul ... I haven't met them (in person) yet. :)
Y'all are really looking GREAT!
The four of you look super great!! Glad to see you all again!!
It would be so great to meet all of you in person.
Thanks, Pat! What lovely photos, and besides the four of you looking great, I enjoyed the colorful leaves on the ground and on the trees. Perfect Fall photos! Thanks.
If any of you are going to be in Texas, tell me. BTW, my daughter just committed to Maryville University in St. Louis, so I guess I'll be spending more time in that neighborhood.
Jane and I met up with Pat and Paul , and Peter and Marge Halbach yesterday in Florence Oregon for some wonderful fun and fellowship. We had lunch at Benny's International cafe on Hwy 102 in Florence.
Here is Pat arriving and gathering her stuff out of the car.

I've had supper. I've even had dessert. And now you've made me hungry all over again! :D
It was a wonderful, fun-filled afternoon ... that seemed to end far too soon.
BTW that's highway 101, not 102. ???
So Jane you are saying when I come west all I have to do is follow the 101 north to meet all you folks?
Great pictures Marilyn!
Sounds about right, Judy .... 101 runs the length of the Pacific Coast.
OK Jane thatns.
I have traveled Highway 101 twice and never saw you guys there! Uh...I didn't know you guys then... :uglystupid:
Looks like a great time was had by all plus all the food was an added bonus!!
Actually, Etta Sue, I don't think we were here when you were travelling 101. Well, Nita and Al may have been.
Jane I know it is 101 just a slight slip of the finger on the number keypad.
Absolutely wonderful photos, Marilyn. I wasn't certain of a couple of the photos that contained everyone - can y'all let me know the names of everyone who met?
Certainly wish I could have been there. :)

Ruth Ann ... I think you can pick out Pat and Paul and Marilyn and me .... the other two are Paul's brother Peter and his wife Marge. K?
Thanks to everyone for letting us see the pictures, then the identification helped, too! Makes me yearn for the time when I was able to go to a SeniorNet bash down in Atlanta. I no longer have those terrible black eyes from that bad fall, but instead there are REALLY great memories of meeting so many while there, and of course, the wonderful memories since then by speaking on Skype with some of them, by speaking by phone with others, and of course, listening in to all the wonderful conversations here. :)
Today was a great day, with good preaching, singing, and fellowship. Those days make life great.
Then, after all the goin' an doin' that I did, I was able to read a missionary book completely through this evening. Oh, what a blessing to learn of the experiences these brave missionaries and their families. This particular book recounted a great meeting of all the missionaries who could return to Papua, New Guinea for a 50th year celebration of the missions work there. Oh, what a blessing to see a new culture and the how the power of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ have transformed those individuals!
Y'all have a good rest of the day - I'm headed to the bedroom.
Much love to all who come and stay awhile, and to all those who read our forum but don't comment.
Ruth Ann
