Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Can You Mend A Broken Heart?

Jeannine

A little while ago a friend asked me if God could mend a broken heart.

CAN YOU MEND A BROKEN HEART?

Lord, can You mend a broken heart
A heart that's been taken apart
One that's been used and abused
Feeling so unloved and misused

With every tear of sorrow shed
When my heart broke and bled
Heavenly Father did You know
I felt I had no place to go

I tried to go so deep inside
Where no one could find where I hide
I soon found it was no use
Yet again my heart took the abuse

My world was dark and full of rain
I thought the sun I'd never see again
But a glimmer of light shone through
Something I dreamed of but never knew

But that rain falling upon a wounded soul
Became showers of blessings to make it whole
For Your love flowed from spear pierced side
Washing away sin and pain in a crimson tide

My loving Saviour gave His life for me
Pouring out His love on Calvary
I found forgiveness and peace kneeling there
Love, grace and mercy too, beyond compare

Now with every tear of gladness
He replaces sorrow and sadness
Rejoicing in the victories won
By the loving sacrifice of His Son

My broken heart now is healed
God's plan for salvation was revealed
Come with me to Calvary's tree
Where He paid the price for you and me
