LIFE
I LOVE THE TREES, SO GREEN AND TALL
I LOVE THE MOUNTAINS, STREAMS, AND ALL
BUT STILL THIS WORLD'S A DYING PLACE
UNLESS WE HAVE CHRIST'S INWARD GRACE.
BEAUTY GREAT AROUND WE SEE,
FAR GREATER BEAUTY YET SHALL BE
WHEN ALL DECAY IS GONE AWAY
AND NIGHT'S REPLACED BY BRIGHTEST DAY
WHEN FIRST WE SEE HIS LOVLINESS
THEN HEART RESPONDS IN HAPPINESS
WHEN EYES CAN SEE WHAT HE HAS DONE
HEARTS FULLY WARMED, THEN, BY THE SON
Al Moak
OH, dear Al,
How lovely and fitting.
Thanks for sharing.
Love in Christ,
Joyce
Al,
A very nice poem with a wonderful thought about life.
This is what life is all about.
Papa John
Al, that is a lovely poem. Did you write that?
Would you mind if I put that on my website?
Al, I really enjoyed your poem. As Papa John said, the title is so fitting. He is LIFE. :)
Al ~ A super poem. I loved it!
Great, Al. I like rhyming poetry. But that that doesn't rhyme isn't poetry to me.
I forgot to say Papa John's is great, too.
Life and memories...Memories and life. One and the same!
Thank you Al for posting your poem Life. A great poem. I really like poetry about Life and PapaJohns memories, .I've written a few myself but i don't know if they should be put in here thaey are full of sadness they were written during my depression.
Marilyn

Thank you so much, one and all. I enjoy writing poetry, though it doesn't come easily! Sonja - if you want to put that poem anywhere, feel free.

That's looks nice on the webpage Sonja, and it's good that other people are able to see it. Things like that can be used by God to help draw people to Himself.
Great work Sonja and Al.
Anthony.
Sonja and Al---------beautiful!
Al: so thought provoking. I just HAVE to get my printer working. I'd like to put that one in my bible!
Thank you for that poem. I hope you put more in.
