Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Look For The Good
Janice Hudspeth,  May 2000

Isn't it interesting to note
That what we are looking for
Is usually what we find,
And very little more?

It is all too easy to find the faults
In everyday situations,
And then they seem to magnify
In our imaginations.

Can we not look for good instead
And focus on the best?
It certainly makes for a better day
And gives our minds a rest.

When we live with aggravations
And let them rule each thought,
It is then we lose perspective
And progress comes to naught.

So what if brother so-and-so
Or sister tell-it-all
Intrudes our day with useless junk
And dumps on us their gall?

It may sound too simplistic
To always look for good.
Yet what is there for us to lose,
Besides our own bad mood?
This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.   Ps 118:24

Thanks for that Janice!  Hopefully, we'll see more by you.  I enjoyed that.

Thank you my friends for your nice comments.  And Sonja, yes you may use the poem, I would be glad for you to use it.
I have to keep reminding myself to practice what I preach!
Thanks again.

Janice, your poem has a very important thought and it is expressed so well.  Thank you.
