I was cooking one day when Jerry asked me what I was fixing.  Cheeseburger Rice.  He said he really didn't care for rice but would try it!  (Yes, you better try it!)

Well, he did and now he requests Cheeseburger Rice.

This freezes well for quick meal leftovers.

Cheeseburger Rice

1 lb. hamburger
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cups water
2/3 cup catsup
2 Tbsp mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 cup Minute Original Rice, uncooked
4 oz. Cheddar Cheese, shredded

Brown meat and onion in large skillet on med-high heat.  Drain.  Stir in water, catsup, mustard, salt and pepper.  Bring to a boil.  Stir in rice; cover.  Remove from heat.  Let stand 5 minutes.  Fluff with fork.  Top with cheese; cover.  Let stand 3 minutes or until cheese melts.
Makes 4 servings.

Let's eat!
