Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Howdy hoswdy howdy!!!

Sorry I haven't posted much.  The past few days have been crazy.  I've been reading pretty regularly, and posting short ones here and there, but haven't had a chance to say anything in here.

I took pictures at a high school prom tonight.  They actually look pretty good.  I was almost in tears as I was dumping them afraid they would be bad, but I think they will work.  My whites are whites, the purples are purple, and the people are in focus.

I agree with what has been said with the prayers for healing.  Like Marilyn, I will often pray that someone will be healed, just because I know God can do it.  I also know that sometimes, His plan is not ours.  When Daddy had his heart attack, and was in a coma, God showed me that Daddy would be healed.  He also lead my brother to a passage in Isaiah (?) that said "this is not a sickness unto death."  Until the day he died, my brother and I believed Daddy would be completely healed.  (I have two other sisters, and though they knew God could heal, they did not have the confidence that Kevin and I did.  Moments after Daddy died, I asked God, "But God, you said you would heal him."  It was as if God said, "Did you believe that I could?"  Of course I did, and it was like He gave me a peace that said, "That's all I expect.  Believe that I can."

I have no doubt that God can make the lame to walk or the blind to see, the deaf to hear.  I also have no doubt that whatever physical ailment a person has, God has a reason for it.  I have a dear friend in the final stages of MS who says she is actually glad God chose her to have the disease, because through it, she has been given a platform to glorify him.  I would hope I have that much courage, grace, and love for Him if i were in the same position.

Wow, this got long really fast, and I am so tired.  So, I think I will skim through, and head to bed.

Ya'll are awesome, have I told you that lately?

PS -- Cindy, WHERE ARE YOU??????  :'(
