Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Our daughter is planning Easter at her house - all of us have the required shots and will wear masks except for eating :D I have a test today at the hospital and have to go through the strict orders - all is slowly getting back to a new normal.

One grandson is still taking pilot lessons in Minnesota.  I don't like that he is doing this in winter but then again, this a a good time to be taught about frigid and nasty weather.

All our news is about the shooting in Boulder, Colorado - Thankful to read the policeman who died in line of duty (father to 7 children) - a huge amount of money was raised for the care of his family.

I am so looking forward to Easter - He is Risen!

I have basked in the music of Anthony Burger.  This is just one I have enjoyed.

Carol

Judy:  I will listen to the new music after this note.  We need more people to reply - what is happening in everyone's lives?

Janet:  You are missed.

Here in Colorado, there will be a silent message to the gunning down of ten souls at a grocery store.  We are asked to take a lit candle and show it for ten minutes outdoors just to acknowledge the tragedy. It starts at 8 PM  Police are combing every inch of the store while looking for any evidence. We all miss our regular church service and especially at at time when we need the comforting words.

I went in for a routine mammogram yesterday and my insurance had not arrived so I have to get that straightened out with my doctor this week.  I bought a ham for Easter and we will gather at daughter's home

Now to listen to Judy's music - thank you Judy!

Trying a different color.

Our youngest son came for a visit and a walk here.  There is still snow but not on the roads or walkway. He brought his German Shepherd who wanted to walk all over to check things out.  We cherish any time with the children - they are so sweet to us.

Daughter was reading about the Covid Brain.  It is many stories of people feeling very out of control for one thing.  I am glad to have been taught to rely on words from the bible so I can say we are praying and checking friends/family,etc.  Such a comfort to have the Good Book to turn to at these times.

Don is watching golf.  It is too boring for me.   ::)

Judy:  Thank you - I love their smooth harmony.

We are back to winter snow again and so fortunate to not have any reason to drive anywhere.

I just started to reread "Jesus Always" by Sarah Young.  It is a daily devotional and just perfect - given to me by a wonderful neighbor a couple of years ago.  Shara Young wrote "Jesus is Calling". That is on my list to reread as well.  Has anyone in here read her books?

We need haircuts - I can cut Don's hair on the patio when it warms again but I look like a shaggy dog.

What is happening in your lives?  We need to hear from everyone - blessings to all this fine Sunday!

What is happening in my life....well, i am due an MRI Scan next week to see the progression of my Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, and this time i wont even have my Richard waiting for me when it is over like i did 5-6 years ago, as this will be taking place 2 years to his death April, just a few days apart.......

Well, I've managed to stumble in again.
I had an app't for "just a routine checkup" this morning and ended up being sent for an EKG and told I'm in atrial fibrillation! Got a prescription for heart/blood pressure and an appointment to wear a monitor for 72 hours and to make another appointment after that for an echocardiogram before I see the doctor again on May 6.  Wow ... all that in one short morning at the end of March.

Other than that, I will be getting my second Moderna vaccination on Saturday, which will be my 86th birthday.  Don't let anyone tell you getting old(er) is fun.  ;)

It's been nice weather here for a couple days and should be okay for another few.  Spring has sprung, except I had to scrape ice off my windshield before going to the doctor this morning. I think I've got this new iPhone figured out -- or at least as much as I will be needing of it.  When my granddaughter comes to visit (supposedly in June) I will get her to educate me on the many nuances of the contraption then.  She is a real techie and there isn't much she doesn't know or can't figure out.

I truly hope all y'all have a great day and Blessed Easter.
For me, I will be staying home as usual.
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass .... it's about learning to dance in the rain!

Welcome back Jane:  Sending up a prayer for your health issues.

Easter:  We are invited to our daughters home north of the city and dread the drive.  I think we should take the offer of one of our boys to ride with him both ways instead of trying to stay overnight.
