Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Jackie, I am so pleased that you have begun to read the Word of God.  You won't ever regret that, for sure!  I have heard several people, much wiser than I, thru the years, advice those new to the Word, to start reading in the Book of John, but Matthew is good, as well.  As you go, you will notice some things are repeated in Mark, Luke and John, that you read in Matthew.  This is because the four Gospels, as those four books are known, were written by men who walked and talked with Jesus on his earthly journey. And just as any four people today would tell the story from the way they personally remember it, so did Matthew, Mark, Luke and John!  I'm just telling you this so you won't get confused as a new reader.  :)  ;)

About the little book, Jesus Calling--yes, just turn to the date on your calendar and begin reading there--one little page a day!  That book reminds me of pecan pie, as it is so rich it only takes that one little page to give us a lot to think about.  And thank you for asking!
Never hesitate to ask questions!  The only wrong question is the one you don't ask!  I'm praying the blessing of enlightenment and understanding as you begin this exciting journey!

Larry, so sorry about your "slip-down" this morning, so glad you didn't fall hard!  You have safety measures figured out already, and that's good.  So glad you can call on Scott for help!  I guess getting your blood pressure up some is a good thing for you, but now let's see if we can find safer ways to do that!

It's so good to be back online.  In today's world, these things just get more and more common.  Thieves looking for easy money, and older people are their favorite targets!  I won't leave home again without totally disconnecting my computer, by unplugging it and also turning off the wifi.  :clobber:

Carol, I hate thieves, too.  If someone asks me, I am glad to help them, but nobody likes to be stolen from nor made to feel like a fool.  :-\  I hope I will be much more wary and diligent in future!  And never forget the lesson I have learned.

I have been having more and more pain in my chest and back from that fall, it's been keeping me awake at night.  So I called the NP I have been seeing again this morning, and she ordered a CT Scan of my chest.  That was the first one I've ever had.  If I don't hear from her tomorrow, I'm to call her.  I just didn't want to go to Florida with something bothering me that much, but still plan to go, as this is the fourth time we have planned this trip and bought the tickets; the tickets are non-refundable and I sure don't want to have to cancel again and lose still more money.  Money isn't
the most important thing in life, but it sure makes it easier to live!

I went to the Artery today after the scan, but didn't even get out my paints.  I just looked at books and visited, ate lunch with them and came home early and took a nap.  Not myself at all.  ???

We are going to church soon for the final dinner of the season, which is hamburgers and hotdogs.  Then will make an early evening of it.

Love and best wishes to all of you!
