Greetings Everyone  Happy Thanksgiving Day

But Marilyn!  If we all so that, there will never be anything to read!  :)  ;)  :D

We had a lovely day with the kids yesterday.  I took everything for acrylic pouring, and they had a blast making art!

Hope you all are fine and will post soon!

I've been trying to tend to Keith the best I  can. I am just sick of doing poop patrol. TMI here, it gets really gross sometimes. He has developed the habit of following me  around asking if he can help me so  gave him all of the hand towels out of the linen closet to fold. Then told him he did a good job. I hate this disease.

I am here, i too often read, but seldom post...Disease or no disease, we get what we get, and we have to live with it and, or deal with it, whether it is ours or someone else...This is life as we know it, our lives are placed in Gods hands, not ours...None of us will go through life unscathed..

Sometimes it helps just to "let off some steam." And it's okay with me for folks to do that here, as we are all friends and understand each other's situations.

Jackie, good to see you're still around!  Haven't seen a post from you for too long!

Marilyn, When Darrel's brother was in his last few month of life, his wife got so frustrated with "poop patrol" and getting it in her long hair that she actually shaved her own head one day!  Then she was embarrassed about that and bought a wig to wear.  We never know what our response would be to a situation we've never had to face.

I now have a small tree up, with lights.  My small amount of energy was depleted by the time I got that done, so ornaments have to wait until another day.  I so enjoy a tree, and Darrel doesn't care one way or the other.

Our church was very festive today, with trees and lights everywhere. They worked very had on it last Sunday.  We didn't stay to help, as we can't do much of that anymore.

It's getting dark here already!  Days so short and evenings so long!

Janet you and I have been here since the beginning along with  others. Judy, You and I have lost  a child or grandchild. I have lost bother within 8 months of each other in the last year. Over the years we have cried together laughed together and prayed together. We have sent many members on to be with the Lord I keep thinking of the one saying that has stuck in my mind for years "Let go and Let God" So many ties we pray for someone  or ourselves and don't wait on the Lord for the answer. Which could be Yes, No, or wait. God is the one in control. We can tell each other things here on CP that can not be put anyplace else. It help to come here and get things off our chest so to speak and know there will soon be prayers being said in our behalf.

Keith knows I am going to California for Christmas with Gilbert, so he has gotten very clingy lately. I have made arrangements for the new caregiver to com to make sure he gets his meals and meds, feed the cats and clan the litter boxes. But, he is afraid of losing me. I keep telling him that I love him and that I will be back on Dec.26th.That everything will be alright, he is not going to lose me.

I have a friend who is going down with me, I will drop her at her brother-in-law's hose in Arcata and I will pick her up on the way back.
Well enough for today. God Bless everyone.
