Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Larry Hanna

Hi Everyone. Our day starts off a bit overcast but it is suppose to be another mostly cloudy with a high of only 83.  We didn't get out yesterday as Pat wasn't feeling up to doing so.  However, she is up early this morning and eating the breakfast I prepared for her so think she will be up to getting out this morning and going to the shoe store.  I might be able to talk her into stopping at Texas Roadhouse for our main meal of the day (probably won't have to talk very long).  So it should be a pleasant day.

I talked with the Consumer Cellular people yesterday and they checked and found that AT&T is having some issues in our area that may be contributing to our phone problems.  So we will give it a few more days before making a decision to try something else. We still have about 10 days on our initial 30-day free trial.

Carol, how old is your old laptop?  Glad you can simply replace the SIM card and fix your phone.  I hope the dentist is kind to you today.

Carol

Larry:  my laptop has to be more than 5 years young.  Today, hooray!!, the sim card arrived and with guidance from  the C Cellular, we were able to put the sim (sp) card on the older iPhone and it works.  This allows us to keep our old phone at a reduced  monthly rate and we are sending back the C Cellular phone.  Their guidance to all of this has been superb.  One of the several electronic problems solved.  The new laptop arrives this week and it cost less and is more powerful than the older one.  Of course, they are all made overseas.

The poor man driving the package truck stopped and turned the hose on himself - he was so hot.  They work so hard.  Speaking of working hard long hours, our daughter works for a giant tech company and is called virtually 6 1/2 days a week - there is no rest.  No time to look for a different job either.  They are taking a family vacation this summer so that will be some relief.

It looks like rain but the sky also shows effects of the fire on the western side of the state.

Big news on the Supreme Court ruling for the Christian baker here who refused to bake a wedding cake for the two men.  People may not know that these men came from the east coast just to cause this uproar.  (At least that is what I heard months ago).  The baker lost so much business and employees lost their jobs.  The baker had offered to make cupcakes, anything but a wedding (religious rite) cake and a lawyer was defending them - all planned.  The ruling was 7 to 2, so it was based rightly so on the our basic rights.  Love it!
