Removing the Haze
in Lightroom 5

Here is how I remove haze in Lightroom 5.

This is the original image taken in the Smoky Mountains.

1.  In the Camera Calibration I'm going to change the profile to Camera Landscape because it is a landscape shot.

2. In Tone Curve -100 Lights

3. In Basic -100 Highlights, -50 Blacks, 50 Clarity, 50 Vibrance

4. Click on the Graduated Filter pull it down from the top until the dot is about 1/3 of the way down.  I went -1.00 on the exposure.  Depending on the picture you may not need to use the graduated filter.

5.  Overall the image looks dark so I added .50 exposure in Basic.

Depending on your image you may have to do more or less to it.
