Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Travelled to Baranavichi, Belarus this past weekend to preach at a church there, New Life.  Took a few pics, here's four of them...

Here I am with the Pastor and Assistant Pastor after having a wonderful lunch at his house.

This is just one of 120 kids that they prayed over before sending them off to Sunday School.

Standing outside the outhouse was the pastor's son.  (my personal favorite of the bunch)

Here's one of the local orthodox churches.  Took these pics with my Optio S4, but was really upset at the way they turned out, seems to be a problem with white balance on overcast days...  Had to do a lot of levels adjustments to get it ok, but still not happy with it.  I'll just have to go back and retake the pics of this church.

Great photos, Mike!  I'm noticing how much that pastor's son looks like his Dad!  Love the architecture of that church ... I'm not a photographer, so it looks good to me!!  :P
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass .... it's about learning to dance in the rain!

That church photo looks good to me, too, Mike.  What in the world do they do with all that height?  It is a spectacular building.

Yeah Mike like Janet said, What do they do with all the height.

With the height, absolutely nothing.  It is a big empty room that goes up to the ceiling.  They have the form of religion, but not the substance.  They are beautiful buildings, but in the end that is all they are is buildings.  Most of them will have a big chandalier hanging down, but not much else.  There are many many many icons, pictures of jesus, the disciples, 'saints' that people will go in and pray to and kiss.  To me it borders on idolatry.  I just thank God that he opened the way for me to pray directly to him.
