Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

]This is a photo of a UK House sparrow.

There are two types of UK sparrows, the House and Tree sparrow.

There are other species in Europe, as well as Asia and Africa.  Though the America sparrow is not that closely related to the UK sparrow.

Sparrows are Finch like birds.  As the photo shows, they have rather stout bodies, their wings are a rounded shape.

The UK Tree Sparrow is smaller than a house sparrow, but is a livelier than the house sparrow.

The tree sparrow is a shyer bird than the house sparrow and they do not like have a lot to do with   people.

Over the last 45 to 50 years the UK tree sparrow population suffered a very severe decline. It is estimated it is over 90%.  Though I read not long ago, that numbers are increasing

Rebot...thank you for the information...Similar to our UK Starlings, although there seemed to be no decline of them at my old address of Bedfordshire, where I had daily regular supply of them ( including their young, ) come visit just to have a birdbath, which I so miss seeing now, I loved seeing them making a splash...I have not spotted even one at my new address in Dorset, yet we have plenty of other birds and wildlife surrounding our area of country-side homes...
