This recipe is made in your blender.
Guacamole
Into container put
1 ripe avacado, peeled, seeded, and sliced
1 clove garlic
1/2 teas. hot red pepper flakes
3 Tbls. lemon or lime juice, or juice of 1 lemon or lime
4 Tbls. olive oil
1/4 teas. salt or salt substitute
Cover and turn motor on high. Remove cover and stir surface of mixture with a rubber spatula, being careful no to dip deeply, until thoroughly blended. Serve as a dip for raw vegetables or on sesame-seed crackers. Makes about 1 cup.
This is great, Marilyn! When I first started eating Mexican food, I didn't like avacado or guacamole. Now I love it!!!
Me either, Ettz! I still don't!!!! but, I have a friend who lovees that nasty looking green stuff, so I think I shall print this out and give to her.
