6 Squares (1 oz. each) semi-sweet chocolate
1/2 cup Sweetened condensed milk
8 ounces flaked coconut
Place chocolate in a 4 cup glass measure. Microwave on medium-low (7) 3 to 3 1/2 minutes or until melted. Stir in condensed milk. Cool until chocolate begins to harden. Shape into balls, roll in flaked coconut. Chill
Variation: use 1/2 cup chocolate sprinkles or 1/2 cup chopped nuts for flaked coconut.
Makes about 2-2 1/2 dozen
I have made the fudge this way which is delicious but never made into balls and rolled in coconut. Sounds wonderful!!
Oh, boy! What a recipe to read this morning! I think I'm going to have a "Chocolate Attack!"
I think chocolate needs to be one fo the major food groups.
This would be a wonderful holiday treat. Just roll it in something suitable for the current holiday.
red sprinkles -- Valentine's day
white, green, and/or red stuff -- christmas
I think it woudl also be good to crush up peppermint candies to roll it in.
Oh, I love the idea of peppermint candy! Yum!
Doesn't anybody care if I get fat? :-\
