I sure do!!!




When I was a little girl, I remember Dad planting raspberries.  We had two long rows that were about 130 feet in length and each year, it was our responsibility as kids to keep the raspberries picked.  We never planned our summer vacation for July as Dad always said, "Raspberry picking time starts about July 12 and for the next two to three weeks, they need to be picked every other day!"  So, at home we stayed.

For the rest of the year, these massive long rows of raspberry canes took up room in our garden and did nothing.

Well, I now have "ever bearing rasps".  What a joy they are!

I came home from Washington, DC last Sunday and what a treat greeted me when I looked out and found my canes simply loaded with raspberries.  I picked on Monday and I picked again on Wednesday and yesterday, I thought I should take a photo of my bowl of rasps!  I also had a few blackberries but they are about done.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I've enjoyed them.  They sure taste good!

Those look very, very tasty, especially that middle bowl and the close up, I can taste them now, great detail. I was going to say, "Thanks for sharing," but its more a case of seeing but not touching.

Pat they look delicious.  Are we having them with cream?  or ice cream!

i've never tasted fresh raspberries before! they're so beautiful. i've only tasted them in ice cream and cakes.

 You should try some. They are delicious.
