...Mrs. Barbarian and I have been otherwise occupied.

She thought she'd like a bigger flowerbed. And the project just kept getting bigger. She had it planted before I had all the tools put up, or the big rocks moved. I felt like the plumber who got two lengths of pipe head start before they turned on the water.
Still is beautiful.
I have a big job to do but my arms dont have the strength needed to dig out the area I need done.
This will be nice when it is all in full leaf and bloom!
A beautiful home, Barbarian.

I understand about being occupied. You can spend as much time working in a landscape as you desire.
I like that bit there about the plumer and two links of pipe. Must remember that.
Don, do you have some experience in using terrace board to control erosion? The downhill side of the fence line is eroding, and I was thinking about putting terrace board in , filling with dirt, and then using the rocks from the old flowerbed to make a rock walkway. The space is only about 5-6 feet wide between the house and the fence.
If you have any insight, it would be welcomed.
No I have not, Sorry.
