I saw this lovely tree and the sun was low in the sky.  I saw it shining through the trees and took this shot.  I got some other nice shots there, too.  I'm going back to this area again!

Thanks, everyone!  I was actually hunting for fall foliage.  We went to a park and were walking down to the river, but I saw this shot first and stopped.  Here's another one.  It has more color, but I don't think I like it nearly as well as the first one.

I do, I really do, its the way the golden leaves are cupped in the Y of the tree trunk and those powerful limbs. Mind you that first picture has so much charm with the sun star bursting out from behind the three limbs of the tree, they're both excellent, perhaps then you like the first one better because of the added element of the sun.

I love them both, but the with sun in the first one, that is my favourite.

Thanks so much for your comments everyone.  I do really like the sun element in the first shot.  I thank the Lord for all of the beautiful opportunities He gives us to capture the wonder of His creation! 

I think I like the second one better, because of the blue sky peeking through.
