They just come out of my little pointed head, Pat... :P   When I taught school, I made a pear/pair tree for the classroom.  Every time one of the kids came across a synonym they could write it on a pear shaped card and hang it on the tree .... we had a lot of fun!

My next offering is:  pier ... peer

& You'll suceed!!  Then turn into a weed.  Yes, I'm a poet & I know it.  It come's from our imagination of words that we've used over many years.  It's easier for a poet to come up with these words for they just take it out of their imagination & use things that rhyme most all the time.
