Top Ten Reasons Why It's Great To Be A Dog


1. If it itches, you can reach it, no matter where it itches.

2. No one notices if you have hair growing in weird places as you get older.

3. Personal hygiene is a blast: No one expects you to take a bath every
day, and you don't even have to comb your own hair.

4. Having a wet nose is considered a sign of good health.

5. No one thinks less of you for burping. Some people might actually
think you're cute.

6. Who needs a big home entertainment system? A bone or an old shoe
can entertain you for hours.

7. You can spend hours just smelling stuff.

8. No one ever expects you to pay for lunch or dinner.
You never have to worry about table manners, and if you gain
weight, it's someone else's fault.

9. It doesn't take much to make you happy. You're always
excited to see the same old people. All they have to do is
leave the room for five minutes and come back.

10. Every garbage can looks like a cold buffet to you.

So true!  I love Geordie's wet nose and he does burp too!  HAHAHA!

Yea! Go fetch us some more if you can!

1.  Ya, get to lay out un the sun, til UR master is done.

2.  You can shed UR fur around the house, while other's have to worry about cleaning it up.

3.  People never tire of UR affection.

4.  You get plenty of excersize while playing fetch.

5.  You can run in a sled dog team.

6.  You can go on vaccation @ the dog sitters house & test their knowledge on how to teach obedience/disobedience.

7.  You can wag UR tail in little people's faces.

8.  If your a pure bred, you know your master is going to protect you from wrong influences.

9.  You know where your limits are: as far as the person at the other end of the leash will take you.

10.  You get to make your Mark or Impression on Car Tires, Hyderants, Telephone Poles, Other Dog's, or on people you do not like.

Of you sit and stare at someone long enough they will give you something

You don't have to do the dishes, you even get to lick them sometimes!

If you just sit on the deck looking out into the yard people think you are doing your job.

If a dog was your teacher, you would learn stuff like:

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

When it's in your best interest, practice obedience.

Let others know when they've invaded your territory.

Take naps.

Stretch before rising.

Run, romp, and play daily.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

On hot days, drink lots of water, and lie under a shady tree.

When you're happy, dance around, and wag your entire body.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.

Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you're not.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.

That's a good one!
