I'll tell you why this association: when I worked in a very tall office building, the turkey vultures loved to perch on our window ledges and peck at the window seals.

There was an unusually vicious, difficult lady manager, who had her desk in front of the window overlooking the landscape. She had been really engrossed in a project on her computer and hours later when she stopped and looked up she was being stared at by one of these ugly birds.

She ran screaming down the hall, and I do believe every employee on that floor was about to fall out of their seats from silent laughter. Of course, within the circle of those who worked with her, this went "viral."

After that, it seemed that her personality changed to be a much more tolerant individual.
