Description: These photographs were inspired by William Carlos William's poem, Queen-Anne's Lace. William's poem, filled with double visual metaphors and written with a nod to perhaps the cubist paintings of his day, succinctly describes the metamorphosis from bud to bloom undertaken by this delicate flower. Queen Anne's Lace takes me back to scampering barefooted through wild fields... Running, arms outstretched, wide smiled, eyes closed, brushing my hands through the grasses before finally throwing myself down upon the soft meadow grasses and gazing up at the clouds. Whenever I see it, I can't help but run my fingers through its delicate white flowers. The Fibers of Her Being and Wherever His Hand Has Lain are printed on gallery wrapped canvass with a low luster finish.
