Hi everyone

I'm thrilled to bits.. because I've just found this site .. what a blessing!

I have a photo that I would love some feedback on..
....but..... :-\I've hit a problem .. I don't know how to load the image
When I think upon my God, my heart is so full of joy that the notes dance and leap from my pen- Franz Josef Haydn.

Hi Hayley...

So nice to see a new face here! 

As for photo, we don't have attachments enabled due to our limited webspace so most of the folks upload the photos to their own webspace that allows deeplinking (some don't) and then use the little icon above that looks like this...   and put the URL (Address) of your photo between the two tags that appear.

If you don't have webspace that allows deeplinking, then please feel free to click on my name and send the photo to me as an attachment and I'll be happy to post it for you.



Hayley, there will be some Welcome Messages to you in our New Every Morning topic HERE so hopefully, we'll see you there.

Also, we have an Introductions area and it would be so nice to see you post an introductions message in there.  You could either open a new topic or you can continue with the one that's there entitled Are you New?

Hayley ~ Emma is sure concentrating on the grasshopper.  I love how you captured her hair blowing in the wind.  Great picture of the beautiful subject.

This is an awesome shot.  I love the way her hair is blowing in the wind and the look of tenderness she gives.  Her gentle touch is so precious.

Hi Etta....Thank you, when my 11 yr old found the grasshopper I was amazed that Emma wanted to hold it.. she a real girl.. baby dolls and tea parties.. I didn't think she would hold it..  :)
I want to draw this photo sometime in the future.

I can't stand grasshoppers either.. eewww .. when I was taking the photo I was so anxious .. I didn't want it to jump on me... but I couldn't say anything because I didn't want to scare Emma.. hehehe

I have one daughter that doesnt mind the bugs and one who absolutly can't stand them.  She screams her head off when one gets near her.

Hayley, my first thought when I saw that wonderful image of your little sweetheart was "What a great portrait that would make!"  I would paint it in oil; you will draw it in pencil/charcoal/whatever.  And I'm sure you will make a good job of it, too!
