There is so much info on the internet and ways to do it. I'm hoping someone here may have some personal experience, tips, opinions and what works for you. I believe that God has been leading me to this and have been praying for wisdom and guidance. You can post here or send private message. I thank you so much!!!
Have you tried writing the calender companies? that may be a start...or what about the postcard companies? That is all I can suggest.
Sorry juanital but I can't help you. I have never sold a photograph. I did a google search and found this about stock photography. Maybe it will help you.

I really don't know what would be the right approach to this.
Don
You could start your own photo site, but I think going with a stock photography site would be better, as they get more visitors looking to buy pics. Although, if you have your own site, you can set your own prices (some stock photo sites won't let you do that) and you get to decide the look and feel of your gallery. If you interested in having your own website, a good free site builder/host is UcoZ.com (http://www.ucoz.com/).
If you decide to open a website of your own, I'd be glad to help you out, as I use UcoZ, too.
Well-Thank you so kindly Judy, yes, I have checked some of those.
Thanks Don, I have lots of stock info bookmarked-this was easiest to understand...Thank you...
Hi Scotty-I was there awhile back after you had posted here...I'll be going back there to have a look again!!!! Did you use basic templates and then personalized it??? I may consider signing up. Thank you Scotty for your offer of help-I may take you up on that!!! I have been working on a personal free website from Weebly-thats been in the works for 9-10 months, hahaha...I'm not very good at even the very basic for that stuff-til I sit down and just keep doing, I accidently erased the welcoming/introduction twice, yesterday... Probably worked out better that way, though frustrating...but I think I got it down...
Thanks everyone.
May God fill your hearts with Joy!!!!

Yes, I did start with a pre-made template, but I didn't like the color scheme so I modified it heavily via HTML & CSS.
Another option is to ask some local shops and/or restaurants to hang some of your photos on their wall to be sold. Of course they would take about 10% of the sale price, but it's a good way to get your photos seen by prospective buyers. Another advantage to this method is you'll never have ship a picture anywhere, because all your buyers will be local.
Fixed it for you Scotty.
Don
Thanks, Don. :)
Thank you so much Scotty for the tips! I will need to do a local search...A few come to mind now that I think of it! :)
I think that method would be best. I was thinking doing that exact same thing beginning next year. It's a good way to get your pics out there.
