• Click on "Your Album" at the far right

• In the column at the left click on "Add Items"

• Click on the "Browse" button and search your computer for the picture you wish to add.  Click on that file and it will be entered in the space next to the Browse button.
• In the "Caption" box type a title you want to apply to the picture.
• If you wish to add more than one picture, continue clicking on following "Browse" buttons and searching as above and adding captions.
• When you have added all the pictures you wish, scroll down to "Thumbnails" and put a check in "Create Thumbnails Now".  This makes it easiest to view the items in your gallery album.
• Scroll to Set item titles and choose Caption from the drop down menu.
• Click on the button "Add Items"

• The screen will momentarily show "Continuing..."   after which it will change to show "Upload Complete".

• At this point you can add more, add another album and add pictures to that, or click on the title of the album you are adding to, to see the results.

Is it normal at the start not to be able to access the  Gallery? When I click on it, it says the action is not permitted. I haven't been able to get into it.

Betty, I have been having the same challenge.  You can still post images in a thread, but there seems to be a roadblock to accessing the gallery.

Thanks - I thought it was because I was still a "Semi-Newbie" but that isn't the case for you. Hopefully someone can help us out:)

I just tried and was able to get into the gallery, so give it another try and see if you are successful.

Hmmm ... I thought I had answered this, but I don't see anything I've written here. No, even with the link it doesn't work.

Betty, please try again.  I just used that link and it took me to the album that was opened for you, ready for you to upload your photos.

We'll have to let the webmaster know it's still not working.   :(

It must have something to do with a permissions level, as I could not access Betty's gallery at that link.  So maybe only moderators or ambassadors have access.

I will take another look at things later today or tomorrow, but I'm not sure what else I can do at this point. I have no idea why you'd be getting the security error, and without more details, there isn't a lot I can do to figure it out.

Betty and/or BigSkyKen, when you go to that link, you must get a message.

Could you please copy and paste the whole message into a post here so that Michael can see exactly what message you are getting?

When i click on Gallery, I get the following message:

Security Violation

The action you attempted is not permitted.

Back to the Gallery

When I click on the link that says Back to the Gallery, it just gives the same message again.

I've tried clicking on the camera link below the following names and I get the same message for each one:

Jeanne
JudyB
Oldiesmann
BigSkyKen

Thanks. I work with computers all of the time at work, and know they can have many issues.

Do you get that message if you click on mine?

I was hoping it would give you more info than that. I'll look at it more when I get a chance and see if I can figure out what's going on.

ERROR_MISSING_OBJECT means it can't find the object it's trying to load, but it shouldn't be doing that unless the wrong ID is being passed. I'll have to look at it more when I get home.

It is interesting that if I log out of CP, then click the gallery links, I am able to access them. Not sure if that is helpful info or not, but thought I'd pass it along.

I tried my Gallery today, and it worked:) I was able to upload a picture. I can click on the camera icon below my name, or go in through Gallery - Your Album.
However, I still can't go into anyone elses.

like the photography cafe when i click on gallery it takes me to the photos uploaded that day and the last 100 pics. How do i view the pics that are uploaded here today. I uploaded 4 pics in my album as well. Glad to be part of this group

Sorry, shooter, but Christian Photographers does not have that facility. 

ok then how do we view photos that were submitted today or throughout the week
