Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

Hi I am new to the forum - I thought I'd share a few of my water droplet collision images with you.

Very well done, Ian!  Someday I need to get serious about trying to do this.  Thanks for sharing these.

What great timing!  How many shots did you take before you got what you wanted?

A lot of shots taken!  However not how you might think!  I use a special timing box that controls the release of the two droplets and then fires tha flash to capture the image.  It take quite a bit of trial and error to set the time between the first and second droplet.  The second drop needs to hit the splash coming up from the first drop.  Then we have to set the delay for how long after the first drop is released before the flash goes off.  Once we have the settings dialed in for the particular levels of water, almost every shot taken give a collision image.  Lots of shots taken during set up, no many once the settings ate known.

WHEW!  Thanks for that explanation.  I guess I won't try to catch water drops any time soon.  :D  This sure proves the difference between a "picture taker" (me) and a "photographer" (you and so many others here.)

Don't confuse captuing water droplets (single drop) with what I was doing with water droplet collisions.  Splashes from a single drop is a breese by comparison.  As I am sure others here will tell you.
