Oldiesmann: I'm not aware of any Jenny. Not sure why activity has died down on this site so much though 2023-06-12, 00:06:36

JennyW: Also, does anyone know other photo sharing sites that are Christian? 2023-05-16, 08:47:03

JennyW: Hello Everyone! I really miss activity on this site. I've been discouraged by photography sites where you have to sort through so much explicit content in order to see photos that truly glorify God. I'd love to see this site pick up again. 2023-05-16, 08:46:36

Janet: Carol, I am just reading this.  So sorry for your loss, glad your beloved Don knew the Lord and you have the assurance of his eternity  and that you WILL see him again.  Much love to you.  Janet 2022-06-18, 08:49:36

Oldiesmann: So sorry for your loss Carol. Praying for you and your family :( 2022-05-01, 17:13:05

Carol: My husband Don is with the angels.....Our family was able to hold  ourselves together for the last moments.  Juar rhoufhr you might want to know. 2022-04-29, 23:35:15

Carol: Thankful:  Don is home from hospital.  I found him unconscious with head outside on the floor and the rest was in the shower.  At the same moment, one son was walking through the front door to visit.  Two fire trucks came racing in and they took over After 2021-12-29, 22:01:26

And the snow is sooooo clean and new looking!

karmat

Wow!  That is a lot of snow.

Those deer are like, "Hey, man, which way is McDonald's?"

<sorry, I'm getting punchy; it is past my bedtime>

Nita

JOYCE, WOW!  That's such a beautiful picture.  So much snow...I don't think I've ever been in snow like that.  How do the deer even walk in it?

Jane Walker

How do the deer even walk in it?  Very carefully, Nita...very carefully!  :P 8)

JOYCE~I love your place in PA!  I sure hope this is not the only photo we'll be seeing of your PA hideout.
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass .... it's about learning to dance in the rain!

Oh Joyce, this is lovely.

I feel so sorry for the poor deer now. Gosh I'd be bringing them in by the fire! I would really!

Thanks "dear" deer.
Jenny  ;)

Etta Sue

Wow!  That snow looks so soft and fluffy!  Not here!  Our snows are wet snows....makings for great snowmen!!!

I don't know what I would do if I looked outside and saw deer in my yard just standing there.

Sonifo

Joyce~Awesome shot.  It is hard to get a shot of the deer in my backyard. They move to quickly.

I had to look at this for awhile.  Wish I was there standing next to you.  What a site from God.

I remember going camping with a councelor when I was a teenager.  She was telling me about God and all of the sudden we looked up and there was this beautiful doe (female deer) about 10 feet away just staring at us.  I felt the presence of God then.  Wow!
Thanks for sharing.

Marilyn

Wow Joyce Awesome photos of the deer. They are looking at you too.

Thanks, Pat.

Glad that you were able to get this okay.

This is only a little of what I see--usually around
5 or 6 at a time.

I walk that road; and they just stand there--checking me out. We are getting so use to it.

You must see the little fawns--they are adorable.

I will be posting some with my daughter in law sharing her cookies with them.

By the way, that same hill that they are on (when we first moved in) had 36 wild turkeys walking by !!
That was some sight.

I will try to get the photos of the deer at Christmas time when my hubby put up Santa and reindeer and the "real" deer just came by and check them out.
My neighbor loved watching them 'cause they would come and lick Santa!!.

Be back later,

Love in Christ,
Joyce

Joyce, that is a great picture but it sure makes me glad I live in Georgia.  I grew up in NW Missouri and have seen snow that deep or deeper many times.  I remember having high-topped overshoes and the snow would come up over the tops of them.  Fortunately it isn't like that every year in Missouri.  I also saw a lot of snow when we lived in Alaska.

I must admit, I'm very fond of venison, but it's dead dear! lol.

Such a lovely, peaceful picture, Joyce!
