My hubby and I braved the October cold to get this and other sunrise shots at Schwabacher's Landing. This place is highly photographed and we saw three other photographers there that morning. Not to worry, though, it's hard to find a bad spot to photograph from at the beaver ponds.

Wow what wonderful reflections!
This is one place I have never been, a place That is a future car trip.
A wonderful picture!
I didn't know it had a name other than the beaver ponds.
I have taken shots from there on several trips.
Here's another picture from first light. It always amazes me how the lighting changes so fast as the sun comes up and goes down, for that matter. This one shows the reason for the name beaver ponds in that area. Most people do know it as the beaver ponds. Go to the gallery or my album to see it larger. The larger it is the more obvious the beaver house is.

My daughter was looking over my sholder as this last picture came up on the screen. I echo her response. "WOW"
The reflection is amazing!
I'm surprised there were only three photographers that morning. When I was there last year we were lined up shoulder to shoulder about 15 of us.
Cheers,
Sam
Very nicely taken. Obviously many had the same idea, but I am sure none turned out better!
Wow - so gorgeous. I love landscapes and nature shots because the Creator's Hand is seen so clearly :)
It is so uplifting and we are sorely in need of that!
